 The “Meet Vietnam 2009” programme will take place in San Francisco, California, the US, from November 15-16, beginning a series of activities to promote Vietnam’s external economic sector as well as the image of the country in California.
The programme is also expected to create favourable conditions for Vietnamese localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Danang and Can Tho to strengthen their cooperative ties with the US.
Its major items will include Vietnamese cultural space, a traditional music concert, a show featuring ao dai (traditional long dress) and solo instrumental music, an investment forum and a workshop on aviation and tourism.
The event will be jointly held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and San Francisco authorities.
