International Boat Racing Festival in MuiNe

An International Boat Racing Festival 2010 will take place in Phan Thiet City’s Mui Ne from October 1-4 with 20 athlete groups, representatives for 20 countries.

Apart from performances of boat arts, the festival also features other activities associated with boats such as showing techniques and skills of assembling boats, exhibition on boats and international seminars on managing, producing, marketing and trading boats in Asian markets.

To build up an entertainment channel for boats at international standard as well as to promote the stunning images of Mui Ne Beach and local landscapes, the festival also includes artistic performances such as music and dance shows, photo exhibitions, an installation exhibition called The Path to Paradise, a beauty pageant called The Queen of the Sea via online voting and a farewell festival to Mui Ne-Phan Thiet.

Mui Ne - about 200km from HoChiMinh City is popular for its sandy beaches which attracts alot of domestic and foreigner tourists everyday. Mui Ne has a beautiful beach backing onto impressive sand dunes, along with excellent water sports facilities and attractive golf course.
