Tour: The Best of Vietnam 15 Days
Number of people: 11
Nationality: USA
Name list: Mr. Thomas Bell and Group
1. Guides:
In the North: Mr. Tuan Anh – We enjoyed the time with Anh very much. He got up early in the morning and took us to a local market in the old quarters, hag Be market where we had many nice photos of the local vendors.
In Sapa: Mr. Thinh – a nice young guy who was very patient with us. When we do the trekking, one of the senior in our group had problem with his knee, Thinh was very helpful to find him a good motor driver to take him to the village before we arrived. Even though, it was quite dangerous.
In the Central: Mr. Quoc – we were pleased with quoc and his services. He recommended us a very good tailor shop in Hoi An where we had some suits and ao dai, dress for the ladies. The price was reasonable and the service was good. We got our suits in 20 hours.
In the South: Mr. Trang – Though we were not keen on big city like Saigon, we still enjoyed the time with Trang. He showed us the other side of Saigon. We also like the young lady on the boat in Mekong River. She gave us the best pineapple we’ve ever had.
2. Accommodation:
In Hanoi: Army Hotel – the hotel was old and just Ok, however, the swimming pool was a treasure. Its location was good too.
In Ha Long: Huong Hai Junk – this is our favourite part of the trip. Being ourselves in the junk was really fantastic. Highly recommend private cruise with Huong hai junks to other travellers.
In Sapa: Bamboo Hotel – rooms were good and the view from our window was spectacular.
In Hue: Green Bamboo Hotel – very good and helpful staffs. Breakfast was good with many choice.
In Hoi An: Ancient House Resort – the best hotel for the whole trip. We loved the architecture, the garden, the pool. Staffs also very friendly, helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
In Saigon: Vien Dong Hotel – good local in the city centre. However, the rooms’ size were small with internal window so it was a bit dark inside.
In Can Tho: Saigon Can Tho Hotel – ok for just only 1 night, nothing special.
3. Transport (Land, water and air):
Your buses were very well-kept and clean even in rainy days. Drivers were very good and smiling. Driving in a complicated traffic system in Vietnam was very very hard for us and all of our drivers are heroes.
4. Restaurants:
We loved the setting and the food of the first restaurant in Hanoi, is it Tonkin restaurant Phoung? It was very nice to meet you in person too.
The garden house restaurant in Hue was very nice too. It was pleasure to talk with the owner. I took her a picture with our group, can you please forward this to her?
5. Design and management of your tour:
“I think that this tour was extremely well organized and also well-designed for our group of 11 people. It was so nice to have everything planned for us, including the travel arrangements, scheduling, tickets, and tours. All of the tour guides also helped us when we wanted assistance with making purchases, exchanging money, and translating. This was extremely helpful and so appreciated! I felt really spoiled and well-cared for on this tour, and all of the guides exceeded my expectations and the terms of their responsibilities. They really strived to please and also make this a marvellous tour for all of us! I would highly recommend your company to anyone who desires a wonderful, breath-taking tour and total experience of the country of Vietnam!”
