In Hanoi and Halong: Mr. Dan Excellent guide. Knowledgeable and very friendly. Provided useful information during the long rides to and from Hanoi
In Danang: Ms. Lan (Pick up only) Very friendly and provided some info about Danang while we were enroute to the airport.
In Siem Reap: Mr. Nara Excellent guide. Knowledgeable and very friendly. Since we completed viewing the temples he made arrangements for a boat trip on Tonle Sap as well as the artisan complex.
In Saigon and Mekong Delta: Mr. Khoa Excellent guide. Knowledgeable and very friendly
In Bangkok: Ms. Jum Excellent guide. Knowledgeable and very friendly. Easily adapted from guiding 2 people to 6 people. Provided insight into life in Bangkok. Easily altered arrangements so that we could take a boat trip. Since we were with Ms Jum for 3 days we were able to develop a wonderful relationship with her. She is a very special person as well as an excellent guide.

REALLY SPECTACULAR!!!! Phuong was (is) personable, understanding, knowledgeable, patient, and just GREAT! I would highly recommend her to any of our friends travelling to Asia.
5. Are there any recommendations or criticisms of services, restaurants, shops, visit sites and so on that you’ve visited on your own?
Yes. In Bangkok the Jim Thompson museum should be added to any tour. I also suggest that travellers should be cautioned about the traffic and difficulty in hailing taxis. |
