The services you provided were first rate - couldn't have been better, Especially the kayak guide who has a bit of a thing going with my daughter over Skype as I write. Everything worked without any difficulty - and I sing your praises to all my friends that are planning trips - hopefully they will take advantage of your skills. - The call just blew me away - incredible. I think we tried to get too much done in Bangkok (my fault) - but it was fun anyway.
The only criticisms I would have would be the elephant camp in LAO - the ride itself was very nice - but the handlers and the camp people appeared to be very cruel to the elephants. My daughter and wife found it very distiburbing - as I would think any Americans would. In the future I would avoid using them - Americans expect that the elephants will be treated gently and humanely - and not just a work animal to make a living off of. I think if my wife could have found a policeman right then and there should would have tried to get them arrested.! They tried to hide it - but the amount of blood and damage couldn't really be kept hidden.
Other than that - as I said it was great. We are already planning our return again in 2012! |
