Luxury Vietnam Honeymoon 15 Days

Day 1: Arrival at Hanoi (D, GP)

Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. You’ll have time to relax before a candlelit dinner at a restaurant in a restored French colonial building. You will spend the night in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi (B, G)

Your morning will be free to recover! In the afternoon, your car will take you to a spa centre for a relaxing holistic body treatment.

In the evening, you’ll cruise ride around the Colonial and Old Quarters on a cyclo to discover the city’s architectural mixture of French colonial style, social realism (mostly public buildings - designed or influenced by the USSR), pagodas and communal houses with many Chinese features, merchants’ residences, ‘tube’ dwellings, modern buildings and vernacular houses.

Day 3: Cooking Class in Hanoi (B, L, G)

Today, you will have a cooking class in a family restaurant in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The owner, a skilled chef will first invite you to a cup of Vietnamese green tea. She’ll take you to a local market to learn about Vietnamese ingredients and try your skills in bargaining and buying among the locals. Upon returning to the restaurant, you’ll learn how to cook some typical Vietnamese dishes representative of the North of Vietnam.

After the class, you’ll sample the results of your efforts. After that, you’ll cruise ride around the Colonial and Old Quarters on a cyclo.

In the evening, you’ll have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry. You’ll spend the night in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi/Ha Long (B, L, D, DP)

After an early breakfast, you’ll leave for Ha Long Bay, one of the most spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Areas where you’ll board a one-cabin private luxury wooden junk that will take you through Bai Tu Long Bay area. You’ll then continue your cruise to the bay’s most deserted areas with opportunities to swim at quiet sandy beaches. The route is designed to avoid the busy areas and includes a very quiet location for your overnight stay.

Day 5: Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you’ll continue your cruise to visit a fishing village where you’ll have an opportunity explore the village and hidden lagoons in a kayak. After BBQ lunch on a wild sandy beach, your time will be your own to relax or continue exploring the bay by kayak. You’ll stay overnight in a very quiet location of the Bay.

Day 6: Ha Long/Hanoi (Brunch, DP)

You’ll wake in fresh air of the bay with a swim or relax on the sundeck. After breakfast, you’ll cruise to a private sandy beach for swimming (if weather permitting) and enjoy cool drink on the beach. You’ll then cruise back to dock around noon whereupon you’ll be picked up to return to Hanoi. Arriving at your hotel in the mid-afternoon, the remainder of the day will be your own. Your overnight accommodation will be in Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi free/Lao Cai (B, GP)

Your time will be on your own! In the evening, you will be taken to Hanoi Railway Station to board the Deluxe two-berth cabin in Victoria Express to Lao Cai. Your overnight accommodation will be on the train.

Day 8: Lao Cai/Ethnic Market/Sapa (B, L, G)

Arriving in Sapa in the early morning, you’ll be met and taken to visit an ethnic marketfrequented by ethnic minority peoples. After a picnic lunch, you’ll continue your journey into the mountains to Sapa. The rest of the day will be free to explore the town. You’ll spend the night in a Sapa hotel with good mountain views.

Day 9: Full day hiking to Ban Ho village (B, L, G)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your hike to Ban Ho (with vehicle support) where you will be able to witness the stunning views of the valley and the rice paddy terraces. You will have the opportunity to explore the Tay village of Ban Ho before crossing the suspension bridge over a stream. The route will continue taking you through the rice fields to the Red Dao village of Nam Toong where your guide will prepare your lunch in a local house. After lunch you will go swimming by a waterfall before ascending back to the Topas Ecolodge. The remainder of the day will be your own. You’ll spend the night at the Topas Ecolodge.

Day 10: Hike to Lech village ½ Day/Lao Cai/Hanoi (B, G)

After breakfast a morning hike will take you passed the rice paddy terraces and the magnificent valley views. After crossing a stone bridge over the river you’ll follow a small trail going up to the village. You will be able to experience the daily life, and learn how the ethnic minority women utilise their embroidery skills. From the village, you will take a different loop back to the Lodges for refreshment before your car arrives to take you back to Sapa then to Lao Cai Station to board the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi/NhaTrang/Evason Hideaway Ninh Van Bay (B, GP)

Arriving in Hanoi in the early morning, you will be transferred to the hotel for breakfast and refresh. After breakfast, you’ll be free until your driver arrives to take you to board the noon flight to Nha Trang. On arrival, you’ll find a car and driver waiting to take you to the resort private jetty, then a short fast boat ride to your resort. You’ll spend the night in Nha Trang.

Day 12 to Day 14: Evason Hideaway free (B)

Your time will be your own!

Day 15: Nha Trang/Ho Chi Minh City departure (B, DP)

You’ll be free until a short boat ride whisks you to the mainland where your car and driver will be waiting to take you to Cam Ranh Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City for your connect connecting departure flight. Tour ends.
