Thailand Honeymoon Tours  »Amazing Thailand Honeymoon 12 Days

A 12-day amazing honeymoon vacation in major sites in Thailand such as Bangkok, Damnoen Saduak, Ayutthaya, Lopburi, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Sri Satchanalai, Lampang, Phayao, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phuket

Day 1: Bangkok arrival (D, G)
Arriving in Bangkok, you will be met and driven to your hotel. In the afternoon, you can relax and enjoy some traditional treatments in the traditional Heritage spa. In the evening, you’ll dine while on a river cruise and spend the night in Bangkok. You will spend the night in Bangkok.
Day 2: Bangkok (B, L, G)
After a laid-back breakfast, you will explore the Bangkok canals in a private boat. Following lunch, you will travel further down the river and explore the majestic ambiance of the Grand Palace and Wat Po, one of Bangkok's oldest and most beautiful temples. The evening is free for you to explore everything that Bangkok can offer. You will spend the night in a hotel.
Day 3: Bangkok/Damnoen Saduak/Bangkok (B, L, G)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will start a full day tour to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market which is situated 110 km west of Bangkok. You will get to visit Nakorn Pathom; the site of the highest Chedi in Thailand. A delicious lunch will be served at the picturesque Rose Garden country resort. Afterwards you will attend the Thai village show, which gives you an introduction into the local life of the Thai people. You will witness ordination into Thai life, monkshood, fingernail dance, Thai boxing, hill tribe dance, sword fighting, cockfighting, elephants at work and folk dancing. You will spend the night in Bangkok.
Day 4: Bangkok/Ayutthaya/Lopburi/Phitsanulok (B, L, D, G)
Today, you will drive to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand. The principal sights are the gigantic bronze statues of Wat Mongkol Borpitr, the three ancient pagodas at Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch and Wat Pranangcherng. You will continue your journey via Saraburi to Phra Buddha Badh with its shrine of the holy footprint of Lord Buddha. After lunch, you will visit the Prang Sam Yod (Sacred Three-Spired Pagoda), the ruins of Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat and the Monkey Temple. You will spend the night in Pitsanuloke.
    
Day 5: Phitsanulok/Sukhothai/Sri Satchanalai/Lampang (B, L, D, G)
After breakfast, you will visit Wat Maha Dhat with its revered Buddha statue, Phra Buddha Jinaraj. You will then continue to Sukhothai to visit the famous ruins of this first capital of Thailand and Wat Maha Dhat, Wat Sra Sri and Wat Sri Chum.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you will head toward to Sri Satchanalai, the northern outpost town of the Kingdom of Sukhothai, built by King Ramkamhaeng, where you can visit Wat Chang Lom, Wat Jedi Jet Thaew, Wat Nang Phya and Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat standing on site of the Khmer fort "Chalieng." In the late afternoon, you will get to Lampang to check into your hotel.
Day 6: Lampang/Phayao/Chiang Rai (B, L, G)
After breakfast, you will go to Ko Kah to see Wat Phra Dhat Lampang Luang housing the only Emerald Buddha. From here, you will depart for Phayao, a unique rural town and former princely state the former glory of which may be seen at Wat Sri Kom Kam. You will arrive at around noon in Chiang Rai and have lunch at a local restaurant.
After that, you will continue to Chiang Saen, the former capital of the first Thai kingdom, situated directly on the Mekong River at the border between Thailand and Laos and visit Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti, Wat Chedi Luang and the small museum nearby. You will also take a boat upriver on the Mekong to the Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet and then on to Mae Sai, the northernmost Thai town where you can stroll through and shop at local market. You will return to Chiang Rai in the late afternoon and spend the night in a hotel.     
Day 7: Chiang Rai/Chiang Mai (B, L, G)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart to  Ban Lorcha, a Phami Akha hilltribe community center. This community-based tourism development project promotes sustainable, self-reliant development to improve the quality of life of villagers of this Akha Community, and is a model for tourism in hill tribe villages.
After lunch at a local restaurant in Chiang Mai, you will visit the Handicraft Villages to observe the manufacture of lacquer ware, the spinning and weaving of Thai Silk and to watch how paper umbrellas are made. You will spend the night in Chiang Mai.
Day 8: Chiang Mai/Phuket (B, L, G)
After breakfast, you will start your day with a visit of Wat Doi Suthep, tucked away in the mountains at an elevation of 1,056 meters. You will then visit the elephant camp to watch the elephants taking timber in the forest. After visiting an orchid farm, you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon you will visit a famous Thai wood carving factory with the possibility of buying Burmese antiques and then drive to Chiang Mai Airport for your flight to Phuket where you will be met on arrival. You will spend the night in Phukhet.
Day 9 to Day 11: Phukhet free (B)
Your time will be on your own!
Day 12: Phukhet/Bangkok departure (B, DP)
Free time until transferred to the airport for a flight to Bangkok then connect your departure flight. Tour ends.
