Day 3: Bangkok/Ayutthaya/Bangkok (B, L, G)
After breakfast, you’ll visit the Summer Palace before being transferred to Ayuthaya - Thailand's capital from the mid-14th century and to the late 18th century – to visit historical sites which are now mostly ruins.
After that, you will be driven to the pier for cruising down the Chao Phraya River with buffet lunch on board. On the way, you will see the beautiful scenery the both sides of the river. Back to the hotel in the late afternoon, you’ll spend the night in Bangkok.
Day 4: Bangkok/Chiang Mai (B, L, G)
In the morning, you will take a short flight to Chiang Mai – the ‘Rose of the North’. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and taken to the hotel. After that, you will be driven west towards the famous Doi Suthep Mountain and embark on a walk leading us to Wat Prathat Temple near the summit.
In the afternoon, you’ll be taken to visit some neighbouring villages to see the various cottages industries including silk weaving, wood carving, silver ware and umbrellas making. In the evening, you will attend in a traditional ‘Khantoke’ dinner with Northern-style cuisine, music and dancing. You’ll spend the night in Chiang Mai.
Day 5: Chiang Mai City tours (B, L, G)
Today, you will visit one of the most revered temples in the North called Wat Prathat Doi Suthep. You will also visit a well-known handicraft village where local craftspeople excel in silk weaving, woodcarving, silver and lacquer ware products and colourful of paper umbrellas. You’ll spend the night in Chiang Mai. |
