Pick up at the hotel in the morning, you will go to Long Phuoc Tunnels. The tunnel is 1.1 kilometres long with a clean and winding track inside. You will then continue going to Nui Dat and an artillery area on the right. After that, you will turn right and go along Kangaroo pad where choppers, Hueys took off and landed. You will then go a little further where you will see a small checking point with the relics of a barrier and you will have a look at the panorama of SAS squadron, an infantry company and transport troops stationed here.
You will also drop by the AVVRG-sponsored kindergarten to go sightseeing around this kangaroo school, the kangaroo symbol on the gates and the doors inside. This school was opened in 2002 and now is re-opened by the Aussie volunteers living in Vung Tau city.
You will go straight to Long Tan memorial cross established in 1969 by the 6RAR. Lastly, you will take photos of your mates gathering beside the cross on which the bronze plaque is hung. When you go on this tour or any tour, try to keep in mind one thing '' something to remember, something to forget.'' In the late afternoon, your guide will take you back to your hotel. Tour ends.
