Anzac Day 25 Apr is the day to remember and respect to the Fallen who sacrificed their lives when the country called. Many ceremonies, parades and other activities are held on ANZAC Day to remember the lives of those who participated or died in military action.
Day 1 (24th April): Vung Tau City Tour (D, G)
Pick up at Vung Tau Ferry in the afternoon, you will be taken to your hotel which is 70 metres away from Vung Tau back beach. After a short rest, you will have a sunset city tour around some of the must-see sites in the city. Enjoy your seafood dinner in a good local restaurant and spend the night in the hotel.
Day 2 (25th April): Anzac Day Dawn Tour (B, L, G)
Pick up very early in the morning at 4.00 am on the Anzac day, you will be driven to Long Tan Memorial Cross. Here, you will take part in Dawn service at 05.15 am organized by Australia General Consulate. You will then go around Nui Dat where the first ATF stationed and have a look at SAS hill where the tough SAS squadron positioned here. You will then drive to Luscombe airfield and drop by the kindergarten school sponsored by AVVRG (Australia Veterans Vietnam Reconstruction Group, Australia Vietnam Volunteer Resource Group). You will then go to Horseshoe hill and have photo shots from distance.
After that, you will go to Long Hai beach and Minh Dam secret zone where diggers deployed on operations in 1968 before going back to Vung Tau City. You will visit the Jesus Christ Statue, the biggest art of all over the world, the reclining Buddha temple. You will also go to top of big mountain by cable car, when you are standing here, you will have a large observation all over Vung Tau city. Enjoy seafood lunch in a good local restaurant before going back to Ho Chi Minh City. Tour ends.
